BUSH'S SURFACE / 2007 /video transfered on DVD

Bush's surface is a video navigation on the surface of the official portrait of George W Bush that everyone can find on the net. The revelation of the identity of the face is made elements by elements by a constant moving frame with a strong zoom effect using the official portrait as an exploratory floor. The movements of the frame which are made with what could be interpreted as hesitation on that surface seems to compose an interrogatory moment to the picture. That scrutiny mode is made using a screen on which the digital portrait is moved by the artist as if the president was under a microscope scrutiny.
